The Township of Lake of Bays is seeking qualified proponents to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the supply, delivery and installation of an electric ice resurfacer with the option of a laser level for use at the Lake of Bays Community Centre. The selected ice resurfacer will be used to maintain a safe, smooth and high quality ice surface for recreational, amateur and professional events. The successful proponent will be required to provide and install (1) one state of the art electric ice resurfacer that meets all the technical specifications, safety requirements and environmental standards. We invite all interested and qualified suppliers to submit an RFP for consideration. The RFP process aims to select the most cost effective, reliable and environmentally friendly solution to meet our needs. The successful proponent will be responsible for supplying, delivering and installing an electric ice resurfacer at the Lake of Bays Community Centre. The equipment must be capable of efficiently resurfacing one ice surface at regular (1) one hour intervals over 14 hours with specific emphasis on ice quality, operator safety and environmental considerations. |
