The Township of Lake of Bays is inviting prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Professional Real Estate Services for the municipality (Realtor of Record).

The purpose of this RFP is to:

1. Seek the services of a licensed Real Estate Broker (or Real Estate Sales Representative) in good standing in the Province of Ontario with significant experience in listing and selling property.
2. Establish a Realtor of Record to provide Professional Real Estate Services for residential, commercial and vacant properties, on an as needed basis to the Township.
3. Provide consistency to the process of acquisition and disposition of lands (excluding shore road allowances or the acquisition/disposition of lands related to Planning applications) while also ensuring the best value for rate payers by providing efficient and timely marketing and transactions related to these lands.

These services will include, but not limited to:

1. At the request of the Township, act as the Township's Realtor of Record and list and sell Township lands.
2. Act at the Township's Realtor of Record to acquire lands
3. Provide professional real estate advice on any items that would typically be covered in a real estate transaction, such as, but not limited to, asking price, opinions of value, appraisals, closing dates, marketing, inspections and other real estate related activities.
