The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to engage Electric Vehicle (EV) charger providers in developing a comprehensive strategy and tactical plan focused on Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure, installation, and maintenance on Township-owned properties suitable for EV charging stations. This strategy should identify and encompass infrastructure needs/enhancements tailored explicitly for EVs, including the establishment of EV charging stations, possible road and traffic modifications for EV compatibility and dedicated EV parking solutions. Given the urgency of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Installation Project, this Request for Proposals (RFP) requires that EV charger providers submit a demonstration of previous/relevant experience, a description of the charging technology proposed, evidence of the ability to meet the timelines of funding opportunities, and other value-added features that the proponents could offer. The successful proponent for the EV charger installation project bear the entire responsibility for installing, operating, maintaining, and eventually removing the EV chargers at the end of their life cycle. |
