The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is for the Township of Lake of Bays to identify Electric Vehicle (EV) charger providers to deliver a strategic plan that encompasses the comprehensive development of EV charging infrastructure on Township-owned properties. The Electric Vehicle (EV) charger provider would bear the entire responsibility and cost for planning, installing, operating, maintaining and eventually removing the EV chargers at the end of their life cycle. The strategic plan should be holistic, addressing not only the installation and maintenance of EV charging stations, but also considering the broader context of EV adoption in the Township of Lake of Bays, infrastructure readiness, and long-term sustainability in a remote/rural area.
